The eductor introduces dry feed pellets into the blower airflow for delivery through the broadcast hose. The feed path is designed to reduce pellet damage; actual results depend on pellet quality, airflow and hose arrangement.
A UV-stabilized polyethylene hopper and lid sit on a marine-aluminum frame. Nominal feed capacity is 80 kg, with usable mass dependent on feed bulk density.
The Aerite AB120 centrifugal blower is driven directly by the 4 hp pull-start engine, eliminating drive-belt and pulley adjustments.
Separate front-mounted levers control blower speed through the engine throttle and feed delivery through the hopper slide gate.
A 3-inch flexible stainless-steel broadcast hose with a smooth inner liner lets the operator direct feed placement while limiting internal drag.
A control knob adjusts lever resistance to suit the operator, as described in the S80 operations manual.
The feed bag shelf provides a convenient resting place for a feed bag while it is opened for hopper loading. Close the feed gate before refilling.

The gasoline-powered engine and blower allow operation without an external electrical supply. The specified Honda engine includes low-oil protection.

Nominal hopper capacity
80 kg (approximately 176 lb) of feed. The S80 operations manual specifies a 120-litre hopper; usable feed mass depends on pellet bulk density and loading level.

One current sellable configuration: AB120 blower, 4 hp pull-start engine, manual metering, simple controls and a 3-inch stainless-steel handheld flex hose.
Engine
4 hp gasoline engine with manual pull-start. The S80 operations manual identifies the Honda GX120 with low-oil shut-off; follow the supplied engine manual for service requirements.

Feed compatibility

Published feed-rate reference
The IAS S80 specification sheet reports a maximum of 16 kg/min (approximately 35 lb/min) with 9 mm pellets. This is a published reference, not a guaranteed rate for every feed; confirm suitability and performance with the intended pellets.
Feed rate and broadcast distance
Feed-gate opening and blower speed control delivery. Pellet size, shape, density, wind and hose or extension arrangement affect rate and distance. Confirm the required coverage for the intended application.
